We have nine passionate, caring and focused teachers on our little dolphin’s team and our aim is to ensure that your child is paired with a teacher best suited to their capabilities and goals.

Jane

Jane Sanchez

Founder

Jane is a “learn To Swim” (LTS-SA) teacher and the founder of Little Dolphins Swim School. Starting the swimming school in her pool at home in 1995, she has grown the swimming school into the 6 pool-facility it is today. Many refer to her as the “heart” of the swimming school as she has built caring relationships with the families who attend, many of which have been a part of the school for over a decade. Jane adores little children and with a gentle touch, nurtures toddlers into confident swimmers who absolutely love the water. There is no fear of the water, when Jane is near!

Daniel

Daniel Sanchez

Coach

Daniel is both a stroke correction and training coach and a huge asset to Little Dolphins. Daniel started swimming himself at the age of two, and has never really left the water. He is passionate about children’s health, fitness and self esteem which he exudes to all of his children. Daniel has great relationships with the children that he coaches, many of which look up to him as a mentor. He has always been involved with Little Dolphins and has made some exciting new changes too!

Karen

Karen Rogers

Teacher

Karen has been a swimming teacher for 18 years, both her sons were provincial and national swimmers. Karen’s aim is to help each child have the love for swimming, from there everything flows and her intention for each child is to reach their full potential as a swimmer. She works on stroke correction, all four strokes – from being a competent swimmer through to training. Karen believes every child progresses at their own pace, no matter how fast or how slow.

David

David Hadlow

Teacher

David is an ex provincial and national swimmer. He have been teaching/coaching all levels from learn to swim to club level. David believes in establishing a child’s love for the water while still creating an interest in pursuing their potential to be the best possible swimmer they can be. He aims to adapt to each child and create a friendly environment to learn in and have fun. David believes that every child progresses at their own pace and as long as they enjoy it, they will improve tremendously. David’s main area of focus is in the water teaching, helping the kids learn how to swim and breathe unassisted while learning the basic stroke movements.

Brenda

Brenda Sanders

Teacher

Brenda teaches the beginner level – age 2 upwards for Little Dolphins. Brenda’s approach is first to gain the children’s trust by teaching in a kind, caring , gentle and fun manner.

Brenda takes each child’s personality into consideration and teaches according to their individual needs. Brenda’s aim is to instill a love for the water as well as teaching safety and swimming skills.

Georgia Vorster

Teacher

Georgia is in her 5th year of studying Teaching in the Foundation Phase, teaches all levels of swimming and currently specializes in the beginning and intermediate levels. 

With a passion for water from you young age, she has also swam competitively for many years. Passionate about teaching swimming, she is also a CrossFit kids coach, she loves being around kids to instill the important benefits of physical activities.  

Michael

Teacher

Michael is currently studying Teaching specializing in the Senior Phase, while teaching swimming on intermediate to advanced levels. He comes from a competitive swimming background filled with amazing achievements such medaling in the 2017 Irish Summer Nationals and 2018 SA Nationals. 

He finds fulfillment in teaching others to be safe, coordinated and to enjoy swimming and all the watersports out there.
