A LITTLE ABOUT US
Little Dolphins swimming School was established in 1995 when Sharper image gym closed its doors. Krans Street, Linksfield, became the new home for Little Dolphins. We started in our home pool and outgrew that within a year. We built three pools for what we thought was for every level of swimming. When we realized there was a large demand for training, we added a training pool. Today we have expanded to six swimming pools and have built up a great team of seven teachers who have a passion for teaching and bringing the best out of each child they teach. This is evident in the results achieved – whatever level of swimming a child wants to reach. Our aim is to provide a fun and safe environment in which our swimmers can reach their full potential.
It is important for us to first establish a swimmer’s level of confidence and ability before placing them in a class. For this reason, we offer a free assessment and then choose a class and teacher best suited to their personality, capabilities, and needs. When it is time for the swimmer to progress to the next pool, they will receive a certificate for their excellent achievement. Each pool varies in size and therefore the maximum size for each class is different. Available space in the various classes may be limited to certain times and days.
